Water Treatment

Kentz provides turnkey solutions for water treatment both individually and as part of their Turnkey Temporary Facilities business.

Although familiar and experienced in the water treatment business, Kentz is not linked to any specific manufacturer or process application. This allows Kentz to tailor-make a solution to exactly meet our clients' specific needs and budget. Such needs would typically consider plant location, required minimum design life of the plant, operating and maintenance costs, local environmental requirements and regulations, plant operational turndown, plant expansion plans, project schedule, etc.

The treatment processes can vary from industrial waste to domestic sewage treatment plants saltwater desalination, and chemical recovery; from capacities of a few hundred cubic metres per day to many thousands of cubic metres per day. Technologies used in these processes are pre-filtration, clarification, ion exchangers, dissolved air flotation, evaporators, neutralisation, chemical dosing, Cr⁶⁺⁺ modification and the like.

When provided as part of a Turnkey Temporary Facility the solution would generally include classification, collection, transport and treatment of effluent, stabilisation storage, handling and disposal of both liquid and solid treated effluent.
