The Kentz Group can trace its roots in the Life Sciences industry sector back to the 1960s and its development is very much linked to the development of Ireland as one if the three major pharmaceutical hubs in the world.

With the advent of Ireland’s emergence as a major manufacturing base for large pharmaceutical multi-nationals through the late 60s and 70s, the  Kentz  Group  discerned the need to be prepared with the skills and technologies associated with critical discipline contracts such as Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrument & Control Systems.

As a result of our skills and experience, Kentz undertook the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System installation and commissioning works for Pfizer’s first facility in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

The Kentz Group continued to build on its reputation for delivering innovation and excellence through other major projects completed over the last 30 years such as the new Merck Sharp & Dohme’s facility in Co. Tipperary in the mid 70s, the new Wyeth facility at Askeaton, Co. Limerick in the 80s, the new Sandoz (Novartis) facility at Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork in the 90s through to the present day and the recent development of the new Bristol Myers Squibb state-of-the-art Bulk Manufacturing facility at Mulhuddart, Co. Dublin.

As Ireland has continued to develop as a destination of choice for major pharmaceutical corporations seeking a logistically-sound manufacturing base, the Kentz Group has continued to develop its skills and services demonstrated through its 40-year association with the sector. Its ability to respond and remain abreast of the technology required to design and build complex Structural, Mechanical and Piping arrangements in addition to the design, build and integration of advanced Electrical, Instrument & Control systems for all Life Science sectors is what sets it apart.

Over the last 20 years the Kentz Group has entered new markets and expanded its presence into the USA, Singapore, Australia and Puerto Rico where it continues to provide innovative management and self-perform solutions to clients across the entire life sciences sector.
