Engineering Services

Kentz has been providing engineering services to the oil, gas, petrochemical, chemicals, infrastructure, and power industries since the early 1970s.  Today we provide a full range of engineering services including project feasibility studies, conceptual engineering studies, FEED packages, ER estimates, HAZOP and SIL assessment and validation, power system studies, detailed engineering and design, GES (General Engineering Services).  These services are provided on a global basis supported by both a regional and local engineering centre of excellence; each  with multi-discipline engineers of varying nationalities.

In our capacity as “client’s engineer” we typically are asked to provide developmental packages from conceptual, FEED and through to “request for EPC proposal” (RFP) as well as providing technical bid evaluations, and EPC surveillance and management of the successful contractor.  In many cases, Kentz transitions from the FEED to the EPC phase of the project self-performing the EPC (cradle-to-grave) phase of the project, including the final commissioning, and start-up.

Our total solution engineering offices include all disciplines, for example process and simulation; architectural, civil and structure; mechanical, equipment, HVAC and piping; electrical, control and automations, instrumentation, security and telecommunications.

Engineering services for projects can be provided from one of our global or regional engineering centres of excellence or local centre in the country of the project.  Alternatively, we can set up an engineering and design centre at the project complex.  This is especially useful for upgrades, de-bottlenecking, expansion and turnaround projects.
