Over the last 30 years the Kentz Group has provided a full range of Capital Project Services across all industry sectors incorporating bespoke discipline solutions as part of an integrated execution structure to full turnkey EPC solutions with “cradle to grave” responsibility for complete delivery. During this timeframe the Kentz Group has developed a range of in-house systems and specific technologies, which continue to evolve in line with the increasingly aggressive nature of project schedules to ensure the “certainty factor” across all project functions required to support the capital investment initiative.

Whether the Kentz Group is providing a single discipline solution or a full Turnkey Capital Project EPC solution, the same processes apply. Underpinning our complete Front-End Execution Planning programme is the development of a project specific HSE plan which continues to develop as the various components of our execution strategy crystallise.

Integral to our Front-End Execution Planning process are the following component parts:

Risk Assessment Process

Deployment of proprietry “Risk Assessment” systems, with primary focus on the establishment of risk potential areas in association with all project participants and in turn the development of mitigating counter plans.

Development of Procurement / Contracting Strategy

Deployment of in-house procurement and contracting system (PAMMS), ensuring analysis, evaluation and recommendations in addition to specific sub-contracting models are in line with client practices.

Reporting/Scheduling

Deployment of in-house proprietry reporting and scheduling tools with initial focus on assembly  of Master Schedule incorporating all project participant deliverables. In addition ensure continual availability of “real time” progress and that up-to-date “Works to Go” reports are continuously at hand.

Engineering

Providing up-front alignment on project parameters through early interface with various design consultants with primary focus on the delivery of “Value Engineering” and safe, cost-effective solutions.

Document Control

Deployment of the in-house Document Control Management System (DMS) providing complete co-ordination of overall Project Management Information System.

Cost Management

Deployment of in-house proprietry Project Control Management System (PCMS) to aid development of overall capital project budget permitting continual project forecasting and reporting.

Quality Plan

Development of Overall Quality Plan involving all project participants to ensure unity of purpose in the pursuit of the collective quality goals.

Construction Execution Strategy

Underpinned by our commitment to delivering an “Incident Free” project our Front-End Execution Planning process provides the platform to deliver an on-time, within-budget solution. Deployment of the in-house Construction and Completions Management System (CCMS) provides a complete co-ordinated information management system from work pack development through materials, through quality assurance, through mechanical completion, turnover systems through commissioning and start-up.

Completions/Commissioning Strategy/Asset Transfer Strategy

Ensuring optimal definition of subsystem and system boundaries in line with customer’s facility breakdown to enable timely completion and readiness for dynamic commissioning and subsequent asset transfer. The CCMS management systems detailed under construction execution strategy may be used as the primary completions management tool or we can interface with a client’s proprietary system.
