Scope of Work:
Project Management, Detailed Design and Engineering, Equipment selection, Procurement, logistics, supervision, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing of the mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation scope for the Shaybah Compression Upgrade project.
The mechanical and piping scope included the installation of one HP Compressor and one Injection Compression. The train also included seven after coolers, one nitrogen skid and two knockout drums. Piping ranged from 6” to 30” dia and including 20” and 24” hot taps to existing headers. The electrical and instrumentation scope included DCS, ESD, Vibration Monitoring System, Exiter Control Panels, 15 kV switchgear upgrade, 15 kV feeders to compressor motors, LV distribution, LV switchgear, motor control centres, field instrumentation, process and pneumatic hook-ups, instrument calibration, and loop-checking. The civil and structural included site preparation, compressor and ancillary equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, pipe sleepers and duct banks.
