Scope of Work:       

Kentz was awarded a contract to provide Commissioning Services for the Kuito 2A FPSO Upgrade. The scope included the addition of three topsides facilities modules to increase the capacity of gas lift compression, dehydration and to produce water separation systems. The initial work commenced in the SBM lmodco Engineering Office in Houston with the preparation of commissioning schedules and procedures for the Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems. The team then relocated to the topsides fabrication yard in Louisiana where work commenced on the commissioning of systems on each module prior to load-out. The team finally relocated to the FPSO offshore Angola to complete the commissioning of the installed modules and to bring the FPSO back to full production.
