Scope of Work:
Project management, supervision, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing.
The OPF is being constructed in ‘modular’ and ‘stick build’ units. Modules are constructed in Korea and shipped directly to Chayvo in the summer shipping windows of 2005 and 2006.
The scope includes substations, LV switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, power and control cabling, primary and secondary cable support systems, grounding, plant lighting and small power, control systems, fire and gas, communications, field instruments, process and pneumatic hook-ups, instrument calibration and loop-checking of 5,000 loops.
Kentz-DEM was awarded Safety Excellence Award by Exxon Neftegas Ltd as Best Performing Contractor and achieved a 1 million recordable injury-free manhours worked between June 2005 and October 2006.
