Scope of Work
Kentz maintenance and shutdown division were involved with the successful implementation of the Engen clean fuels projects and maintenance turnaround 2005. This included the prefabrication and construction of two major projects: The Dehexaniser and a major upgrade to the CHD (Catalytic Hydrotreater Desulphurizer) Unit.
The scope of work included MEIP (mechanical, structural, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines, the management and construction of the Dehex and CHD Projects and to plan and carry out the maintenance requirements during the turnaround (which took take place in September 2005). The maintenance portion began with scope verification and identification in March 2005 along with prefabrication of piping. In total the job consisted of two major projects (Dehex & CHD), the maintenance portion and thirteen small projects.
