Scope of Work
The dismantling involved the removal marking (using bar-coded labels) and packing of all items into containers, flat racks or as break-bulk loads. All plant was taken for re-use. Two John Thompson boilers 10t/hr were converted from coal to oil-fired.
The installation involved the re-erection of all steel, mechanical and electrical equipment, modifications and installation of all recovered dairy tubing and carbon steel piping, refurbishment and installation of cable rack and cables, and the calibration and installation of all instrumentation. Kentz was responsible for all utilities including the engine room, boiler plant, and water and effluent services, and all process areas including malt and maize, brew-house, GPA and filtration, yeast, FV/SV BBT cellars and interfaces. All items in the pack-hall were handled/rigged into position by Kentz and finally aligned by Hightech packaging.
