Scope of Work:

Project management, engineering, procurement, supervision, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of  civil, mechanical, electrical and IT scope for the camp faciliities for Qatargas II Project at Ras  Laffan.

Provide infrastructure and utilities for phase II of the Qatargas II labour camp.  The phase II provides accommodation for 12,000 people bringing the total capacity to 16,500.

Mechanical  scope included waster water treatment facilities. Treated effluent storage, irrigation water storage tanks and distribution system, waste water collection system including lift stations and transfer pits, potable / fire water storage, potable water distribution system, fire water pumps, fire water ring main, fire hydrants, hose reels, and fire extinguishers.

The Electrical and IT scope included an extension of the 6.6kV switchgear supplied under phase I, 6.6KV ring main system including 38 no. Unit substations and 25 km of 6.6KV cable, power transformers, 415V switchgear and distribution, fence and area lighting, gas detection system on the construction area segregation fence, voice and data systems within the buildings, building fire detection and alarm system, site wide fire supervision system including 25 no. Fire alarm panels connected in a ring configuration.
