FEED for the Industrial Park West

RGC and Kentz Int’l, a consortium of consulting engineering firms was awarded the FEED for the Industrial Park West Contract. The project consist of 365,000 engineering man-hours.

RGC and Kentz International are currently performing In Kingdom and Out of Kingdom the detail development of the Jubail 2, Stage 2. The Scope of Work includes, but not limited to, Engineering Studies, Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED), preparation of Drawings and Specifications, Bid Package/RFP preparation, Front-End Engineering on-site and off-site design of:

  • Staged Site Development – Earthworks and Site Preparation. RC Contracts 202-C16, 202-C17 and 202-C18.
  • Grading and Drainage of the entire Industrial Site. RC Contracts 202-C09, 202-C12, 202-C13.
  • Road and Utilities crossing at the KRT corridor and related infrastructure. RC Contracts 262-C04, 262-C05, 092-C06.
  • Main Roads and Highways, and provision for a Railroad System. RC Contracts 092-C12 and 092-C13.
  • Module Path Expansion. RC Contract 092-C18.
  • Seawater cooling supply and distribution system. Diversion of SWC along KRT Corridor. RC Contract 262-C02.
  • System Design – Right of Way. RC Contract 202-T03.
  • Potable water supply and distribution.
  • Industrial/sanitary waste water collection and treatment system.
  • Material handling pipe and utility corridors.
  • Feedstock supply and fuel gas system supply and distribution.

Value engineering and optimisation RGC and Kentz are coordinating its work with several entities through the Royal Commission including, but not limited, to:

  • Contractors/Architects/Engineers for adjacent Project sites and all Infrastructures.
  • A/Es from other RC Contracts related to our scope.
  • Saudi Electric Company – SEC.
  • Saudi Telephone Company – STC.
  • Civil Defense - Fire System.
  • Coast Guards – Shore line protection.
  • Roads and Traffic Systems – MOC.
  • Saudi Aramco.
  • Marafiq.
