KEIL has recently completed the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Jubail Export Refinery (JER) Temporary Construction Facilities (TCF).

As part of the JER project, it is intended to construct a “Temporary Construction Facilities” (TCF) dedicated to the JER project in Jubail Industrial area. The TCF will be located to the south but adjacent to JER project site – Industry “Plot 9”, Jubail Industrial Park 2, Royal Commission. The TCF land area is outside the Jubail 2 land boundary and located on Saudi Aramco land.

The FEED work included the following:

  • Camp buildings for housing 23,000 men
  • Waste water collection, treatment and treated water disposal system
  • Potable water and fire water storage and distribution
  • Power generation and reticulation
  • Roads and fencing
  • External recreation facilities and irrigation
  • Temporary Site Office Facilities (TSF)
  • Common facilities to all areas (including recreation facilities)

KEIL has also performed the detailed design for the site development, soil improvement works, roads and electrical works for common areas and the bridge works across Tareeq 274.

The FEED drawings and documents also include package scope of work for each discipline of the above-mentioned systems.
