Scope of Work:
Kentz were awarded the contract for project management, procurement, installation and commissioning the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation scope for the process and utility areas for the South African Breweries (SAB) state-of-the-art ‘Greenfield’ Brewery in Perseverance in the Eastern Cape.
Kentz worked closely with the technology suppliers, Briggs, APV, WS&B, Euwa, Zeeman-Bauer, Consani Engineering, Union and Ingersoll Rand, in the venture. The scope including pipe fabrication, piping installation, mechanical equipment installation, substations, MV and LV reticulation, on-plot cabling, control equipment installation, instrument installation, calibration and loop-checking. Materials and equipment was sourced from various local and international companies.
