Scope of Work:
The Telecom Integrator package awarded to Kentz by Amec includes finalising system requirements, detailed system design, and developing network requirements and detailed design for all telecommunications systems and site communications networks. Systems include the Public Address / General Alarm, Security and Surveillance, Plant Fibre Optic Network, Voice over internet Protocol, Trunked Radio, and Vehicle Tracking and Mine Dispatch.
Kearl is an oil sands mining and extraction project being developed by Imperial Oil (as operator) and ExxonMobil Canada.
