Scope of Work:
Detailed Engineering (Carried out In-Kingdom), Supervision, Procurement, Material Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning for the Ras Tanura Refinery Upgrade Package 5. The Scope included the cut-over from the existing control systems to a new DCS (Honeywell TDC 3000 Ver 500) and the testing of the Control System for the following new facilities: NHT/CCR, Hydrocracker, Hydrogen Plant, Visbreaker, SuIphur/DGA, Waste Water Plant and High Pressure Boilers. Testing included SAT’s on the DCS, Triconex ESD, Bently Nevada VMS, CCC, DEC VAX, Gas Chromatographs, Enraf TGS, The total I/O count was 46,000.
