JCP Styrene & Propylene Tank Farm and Loading Facilities
Scope of Work:  

Detailed design, procurement, commissioning and testing for the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installation for the JCP Tank Farm and Loading Facilities at Jubail.

The mechanical scope included an 18km above-ground carbon steel pipeline for product loading, 5km of Tank Farm Pipework, Pipe Insulation, Vapour Recovery Unit Manual and Motorized Valves, Product Shipping and Loading Pumps, Berth Loading Arms and Hoses, Fire Water Foam and Deluge Systems, Potable Water System and a Tempered Water Package.

The electrical scope included 35.4kV Underground Distribution System, 5kV Distribution System, Transformers 35.4/5kV, 5kV Switchgear, 400V Switchgear, LV Distribution System, Road Lighting and Grounding.

The Instrumentation scope included DCS, ESD System, Tank Gauging System, Fire & Gas Detection System, Telephone, Underground Distribution System, Field Instrumentation, loop-checking and field calibration.

The Civil scope included substation building, building services (HVAC, Lighting and Plumbing), Equipment foundations, product tank containment bunds with HDPE liners and pipeline structural support steelwork and sleepers. 

Saudi Arabian Kentz was responsible for the management of all project interfaces with Sabtank, the Royal Commission, Port Authorities, HCISS, SEC and JCP both locally and in the United States.
