Scope of Work:
Kentz USA/Yokogawa were responsible for the standardization, engineering, assembly, integration & factory acceptance testing of all the Process Control Information Management System (PCIMS) equipment. The PCIMS equipment included: Yokogawa Centium 3000 Distributed Control Systems, Triconex Programmable Emergency Shutdown Systems, Modicon Programmable Logic Control Systems, Bently Nevada Machine Monitoring Systems, Tank Gauging Systems and Flow Computer Systems. The scope also included the engineering, standardization and fabrication of ten Remote Instrument Buildings (RIB) and the total integration of the PCIMS equipment within. Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Gas detection and Fire Suppression systems were installed and tested for each RIB. A fully integrated factory test of all RIB’s and the PCIMS equipment was conducted in Houston prior to the shipment of equipment to the Jubail project site. There were a total of approximately 10,500 I/O.
Saudi Arabian Kent were awarded the utilities and off-sites facilities commissioning scope which comprises of loop dossier preparation, QC checks on mechanically completed loops, instrument bench calibrations, calibration proponent, functional loop checking of completed systems and commissioning support to the proponent.
