Kentz recruiting at the Skills Australia Needs Expo. To register go to News & Information - 19 August 2010

Kentz Group is pleased to announce that it will be attending the Skills Australia Needs Expo in London on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September 2010.

We welcome skilled electrical and instrumentation trades persons in Ireland and the UK to register for the expo. We are looking for electricians with industrial experience from a construction background. Domestic/commercial type electrical experience will not be suitable for our requirements.

Electricians with high voltage switching experience and commissioning experience in industrial plants are of particular interest.

We are also keen to recruit instrument technicians with experience in loop checking and calibrating instruments in industrial facilities.

Electricians and instrument technicians with oil and gas experience are of particular interest.

The event will provide an opportunity for skilled workers to meet with Kentz, along with other Australian employers and state and territory governments to discuss employment opportunities in Australia.

Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from the department about skilled visa options for Australia. Assessing authorities will be in attendance to discuss skills assessments for Australian visas.

Who should apply to attend this event?

Skilled workers who:

  • are under 45 years of age
  • have good English language skills
  • are interested in living and working in Australia
  • have qualifications and/or work experience in an occupation in demand in Australia and skills needed by a participating employer or state and territory governments

The final list of invitees will be determined according to occupations in high demand across Australia and the skills needed by participating employers and state and territory governments. Information on venue and attendance times will be provided to invitees.
