KentzSMNM awarded Sakhalin contract with Fluor
KentzSMNM LLC, the Sakhalin-based company comprised of Kentz Russia and SakhalinMorNetfeMontazh(SMNM), is pleased to announce the award of a civil engineering contract to provide site development, piling and road construction services with Fluor Daniel Eurasia Incorporated (FDEI).
The contract is to build a new 15 kilometre road to service the well site associated with Exxon Neftegas Limited’s (ENL) Sakhalin-1 Odoptu development on the east coast of Sakhalin Island. The project also includes site clearance and development work in preparation for the relocation of ENL’s Chayvo-based Yastreb drill rig and Interim Production Facility.
Kentz Russia is the Russian operations arm of Kentz Engineers and Constructors group. It specialises in multi-discipline projects in the oil and gas industry. SMNM is a leading construction contractor in civil and mechanical disciplines and is part of the Rosneft group. Kentz and SMNM first co-operated together in 2003.
