Tuesday 5 February 2013: Kentz Corporation Limited (LSE: KENZ),
the holding company of Kentz engineering and construction group, is
pleased to announce that Mark Payton will take up the new position
of Group Corporate Development Officer for the company. Within this
new role, Mark will be responsible for leading Kentz's strategic
planning, implementation and M&A activities.
Mark has over 30 years' experience in strategic planning and
performance improvement, facilitation, acquisitions, corporate
development and the creation of marketing programmes in the global
engineering, construction and capital projects industries.
Since 2009, he has been working as an independent consultant
providing strategy development consulting for a number of major
engineering and construction companies around the world. For eight
years prior to that, Mark was Vice President of Strategic
Development and Planning and a member of the executive leadership
team for Mustang Engineering. During this time, Mark led strategy
development and acquisition activities focusing on global expansion
into new geographic markets and service areas, as well as
coordinating and developing overall corporate and regional
strategies and action plans.
Prior to joining Mustang, Mark managed a strategy and market
research consulting business for over 16 years. He began his career
in 1979 with MW Kellogg, a major US process engineering and
construction firm, as Manager of Marketing and Planning.
Mark holds a Masters Degree in International Business from
Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management and a
Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Arizona.
