A Malaysian, Hassan was appointed to the Board of Kentz in 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Lancaster and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Hassan is currently the Deputy Chairman of Peremba (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and a director of Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited (Singapore). He also sits on the board of several private companies.
