Analyst visit to Qatar
Qatar Team Host Analyst Trip
The end of November 2008 saw a new milestone for Kentz as we hosted a trip to Ras Laffan Industrial City for 15 London-based financial analysts. Since taking the Company public in February 2008 Hugh O’Donnell, Kentz CEO and Ed Power, Kentz CFO have been communicating with financial audiences to ensure a better understanding of the Kentz story. Our intention is for more analysts to be writing research about the Company in order to inform investors and support the stock price and liquidity. The trip to Ras Laffan allowed us to show the analysts first hand some of the projects in the region and open their eyes to the scope and scale of Kentz work. The tour of the site, which included Dolphin Energy, Qatar Gas and our office at the Pearl GTL project, was hosted by James Moore, Global EPC Business Unit Manager, Martin Walsh, Country Manager, Pat Fogarty, Site Manager of Pearl GTL Project, Gary Ford, Project Manager of Pearl GTL Project and Adrian Meaney, Project Manager.

Attendees of the Kentz Analyst Off-Site, Doha, Qatar It was followed by an afternoon session back in Doha with a presentation from Mick Ross Lonergan, Regional Business Development Manager on Kentz projects throughout the Middle East, a talk from MEED Director of Research, Angus Hindley, and a lively questions and answers session. True to Kentz form, the trip was not all work and no play. The day was rounded off by a barbeque on the beach and three of the analysts joined us later in the week for the Rugby Sevens in Dubai. Feedback from the analysts has been overwhelmingly positive and a big thanks goes to all those that made the trip such a success. |
