A Malaysian, Hassan was appointed to the Board of kentz in 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Lancaster and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Currently, Hassan is the Deputy Chairman of Peremba (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. He serves on the board of the following companies - Cycle & Carriage Bingtang Berhad (Malaysia). Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited (Singapore) and MCL & L Limited (Singapore). He also sits on the board of several private companies.
