Safety Achievements
A few of our 2008 Safety highlights:
- The total man-hours delivered on Kentz’s projects during 2008 was in excess of 35 million
- Qatar - completed 6 million man-hours without a LTI
- Saudi Arabia - completed over 15 million man-hours without a LTI
- 30 million man-hours without LTI on the RasGas Common Offplot and Expansion Phase 2 projects, Qatar
- Two million man-hours without LTI at Sipchem Port Project in Saudi Arabia
- Wet Plant team on the Madagascar Ilmenite project won the Quarterly Rio Tinto Safety Excellence Award for Overall Performance on Safety and Environmental Aspects
- One million man-hours without LTI on QMM Ilmenite Project, Madagascar
- One million man-hours without LTI on the Khurais KUC Project in Saudi Arabia.

- 5,000,000 man-hours without LTI on Dolphin Project Qatar
- 1,000,000 man-hours without LTI on JCP Product Distribution and Export Facilities Project, Jubail, Saudi Arabia
- 2,000,000 man-hours without LTI Moma Project, South Africa
- Kentz DEM named as Overall Safety Contractor of the Year by Exxon Neftegas Limited for Sakhalin and De Kastri Projects, Russia
- Kentz International HSE Conference 2007.

A few highlights of our Health and Safety achievements for 2006 were:
- The achievement of 5,000,000 man-hours without LTI recorded on the Qatar Gas II Phase I & II project in Qatar
- The achievement of 1,000,000 man-hours without LTI recorded on the Chayvo OPF in Sakhalin Island, Russia
- The introduction of two Annual CEO Awards for Safety Leadership, and Dedication & Commitment. These two separate awards seek to reward individuals who excel in these areas and also encourage behaviour that both the company and individuals aspire to.
