Eoin Hurley is Chief Operating Officer for the Construction Global Business Unit and joined Kentz in 1986. He studied Engineering at the Regional Technical College, Cork City, Ireland and after qualifying spent four years working in the Mechanical Building Services Department of a Cork-based Consulting Engineering practice, John O'Donovan and Associates. He is a member of the Project Management Institute of South Africa. His career in engineering and construction spans 25 years, having participated in a wide variety of projects in Europe, the Middle East and predominantly in Sub-Saharan Africa across many sectors of the industry from power generation, food and beverage, iron and steel, non ferrous metals, oil and gas, petrochemical, pulp and paper and mining. He spent much of this time on site and also in operational and general management roles, including most recently as the Managing Director of the Southern African Region.
