Rory O'Donnell
Appointed to the Board 2005, Irish. Rory is the Project Director on Sidra Medical & Research Centre in Bahrain. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) degree at the University of Limerick, Ireland in 1990 and a Masters Degree in Technology at the same university in 1997. In 1992 he completed a Diploma in Finance & Accounting with the ACCA and in 1999 a Masters in Business Administration through the University of Surrey, England. He is also a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institute of Engineers of Ireland. He started his career with Shannon Aerospace in Ireland where he worked closely with the Kentz Group to undertake one of the largest aircraft maintenance facilities in Europe. He then relocated to Southern Africa with the Kentz Group where he held the roles of Operations Services Manager, Senior Project Manager and General Manager (Botswana). He then took on the role of General Manager in Saudi Arabia for over four years before being appointed as Regional Director of Kentz for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. With the regionalisation of Kentz operations in the Middle East from January 2007, he now has the position of Deputy Regional Manager for Kentz Middle East.
